1. Summer building opening times

   LJMU will move to its summer building opening hours from Monday 24 June.

2. Making Every Contact Count training January

   Staff are invited to take part in a Making Every Contact Count training day on Monday 15 January.

3. Making Every Contact Count training day

   This mental health training will take place on Tuesday 10 October, 9.30am to 3pm, Exchange Station G20 and 21.

4. Restrictions on using USBs for students and staff

   From 4 September students will be no longer able to use USB storage devices on LJMU equipment. This is alongside the restrictions already in place for staff.

6. Students gain insight into world of international boxing

   Students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Liverpool Screen School and Liverpool Business School gained real-world insight into professional boxing and PR with a campus visit from worldwide boxing promoters Matchroom and boxer Peter McGrail.

7. Encouraging more girls to become involved in biomechanics

   In celebration of National Biomechanics Day 2023 (Wednesday 5 April), the Biomechanics Research Group within LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, delivered an exciting, fun-filled, activity packed event with schoolgirls from a Liverpool primary school.

8. North West Higher Education Action Learning Programme

   LJMU are offering up to ten places for women working in academic and professional services roles to take part in cross institutional action learning sets with peers from universities in the North West region.

9. LJMU and LFC Foundation extend partnership

   Liverpool John Moores University and LFC Foundation are broadening their successful partnership to create new research, employment and volunteering opportunities for students.
