   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

5. Policing students become 'nighttime guardians' for safer streets in Merseyside

   The development of the ‘guardian project’ will see LJMU student volunteers be trained alongside street pastors to provide support, to those who need it, in Liverpool’s night-time economy, such as helping people get home or providing emotional support.

6. Returning to campus

7. Teaching textile and craft processes to high school pupils

   Staff and students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design have opened their workshops to pupils from Crosby High School as part of a four-month long collaboration exploring university learning.

    Mersey Maritime is widely recognised as the UK’s leading maritime cluster organisation bringing together industry, government, national trade bodies and academia to champion, grow and protect the UK maritime industry particularly in the North-West.
