   Fashion students have collaborated with BEPO to create a sustainable Eurovision collection for Liverpool ONE’s John Lewis

7. Major new joint research project will focus on mental health of jockeys and staff in the horse racing industry

   LJMU, Racing Welfare and the BHA will be carrying out a major new piece of research into the provision of mental health services across horse racing.

8. International curriculum handbook to enhance teaching of technology education

   Dr Matt McLain, a Senior Lecturer in Education and Professional Learning in the School of Education has co-edited the Bloomsbury Handbook of Technology Education, a forward thinking new text that brings together international perspectives to enhance technology teaching.

9. New stars discovery shed new light on Galaxy's formation

   An astronomer from LJMU’s Astrophysics Research Institute has discovered a new family of stars in the core of the Milky Way Galaxy which provides new insights into the early stages of the Galaxy’s formation.
