1. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

3. LJMU transforming endoscopy training across the North West

   LJMU’s School of Nursing and Allied Health is helping to transform endoscopy training through its collaboration with a new academy.

4. Policing students become 'nighttime guardians' for safer streets in Merseyside

   The development of the ‘guardian project’ will see LJMU student volunteers be trained alongside street pastors to provide support, to those who need it, in Liverpool’s night-time economy, such as helping people get home or providing emotional support.

5. Liverpool Business School makes global entrepreneurship impact with Prime Minister of Lebanon

   Academics from LJMU's Liverpool Business School, alongside project colleagues from the Middle East, have met with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Mr. Najib Mikati, at the Grand Serail to present a policy brief on entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

6. Team LJMU makes Top 50 in BUCS Rankings

   Top 50 in the UK, makes LJMU one of the top places to study, whilst also competing at university level in sport.

7. School pupils develop essential laboratory skills through Absolute Chemistry initiative

   The Absolute Chemistry team are passionate about working with schools from across the Liverpool City Region and supporting opportunities to raise their aspirations around studying science after high school.

8. LJMU hosts first ever Para Pentathlon training day in the UK

   25 Athletes from across the UK attended the first ever Para Laser Sport training event at LJMU’s Sport Building this week.
