1. Meet the electric Formula Student team heading to Silverstone this summer

   Intrepid engineering students are hoping to race LJMUs first electric racing car around the world-famous Formula 1 track in July.

2. Dinosaur footprint expert to feature in Channel 5 series fronted by Stephen Fry

   Dinosaurs with Stephen Fry, airing from Sunday 12 February on Channel 5, will feature expert analysis from LJMU’s Dr Peter Falkingham. He will explain how birds are modern descendants of dinosaurs by looking at the motion of ostriches compared to the T. rex.

   A newly published study in PLOS genetics led by School of Biology and Environmental Sciences experts Dr Adeline Morez, Prof Joel D. Irish and Dr Linus Girdland Flink is helping to shed new light on the origins of Scotland’s Picts.

   New research from Queens University Belfast and Liverpool John Moores University reveals how the microplastic pollution crisis is threatening biodiversity.

7. Association for Project Management accredits LJMU master's programme

   The MSc Project Management course has received accreditation from the UK’s chartered membership organisation for the project profession.

8. International Women's Day: digital finance research for women and minority groups in Nigeria
