4. LJMU is offering students access to IT services off campus like never before

   Do you prefer to study out of hours? Is there a pressing lab report that you need access to? No problem! LJMU is providing students with 24/7 access to IT services off campus. That means you can access Office 365 from your own device and download other software onto your own laptop/computer as well as accessing lab computers.

5. January exams to be moved online

   We have made the decision to move all examinations scheduled from 4th January online

6. Civil Engineering student nominated for Undergraduate Award

   Ria Mistry, a second year Civil Engineering student at LJMU, beat off tough competition to make the shortlist out of almost 4,000 undergraduate students.

7. Celebrating Cultures Event 2022

   All staff and students are invited to LJMU's Celebrating Cultures Event on Wednesday 15 June as part of the Students at the Heart Conference.

8. LJMU ranked one of the top 10 best UK universities in StudentCrowd Awards 2022

   Based on online reviews over the past two years, LJMU is ranked as the 6th best UK university according to the StudentCrowd awards 2022.

9. Introducing the JMSU Student Officer team 2024/25

   Four new student officers are now in post for the 2024/2025 academic year to represent the 27,000 students at LJMU.

    Two new policies will support teaching staff in their development through peer exchange and direct observation.
