1. Recent policy centre updates

   Updates and revisions have been made across a range of LJMU staff policies.

2. Expressions of interest welcomed for multiple Academic Board vacancies

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible LJMU staff to serve on the Academic Board and to take up their roles in September.

3. Alleged Misconduct in Research and Knowledge Exchange Policy now approved

   The policy can be accessed via the LJMU Policy Centre.

4. Making Every Contact Count training January

   Staff are invited to take part in a Making Every Contact Count training day on Monday 15 January.

5. New Academic Achievement teaching resources

   Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.

6. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

7. Menopause matters celebration and future initiatives

   An update on the work happening at LJMU to better support staff going through the menopause.

8. Making Every Contact Count staff training: September to December

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

9. Responsibilities during a fire alarm activation

   When a fire alarm sounds, everyone has a part to play in the safe evacuation of people from a building.

10. Data protection related policy updates

    Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.
