2. JMSU Amazing Teaching Award 2022 Winners Announced

   The winners of the John Moores Students' Union Amazing Teaching Awards 2022 have been announced with 15 winners across six categories.

3. Estranged Students Solidarity Week

   Monday 25th - Friday 29th November is Estranged Students Solidarity Week, a national campaign to raise awareness of the issues affecting students who are studying in higher education without the support of a family network.

4. Programme keeps teenage girls active in lockdown

   A programme to keep teenage girls active during lockdown has found it significantly boosted their strength, fitness, motivation and body image.

5. Professional Services Conference 2019

   Registration is open for the 2019 Professional Services Conference, being held on Thursday 27th June in the Redmonds building. This year’s theme is “Leadership Matters” with a focus on resilience, health and wellbeing.

6. Your LJMU Your Voice

   We have launched an exercise to learn about your experiences of working at the university.

7. New LJMU Library ‘Every Voice Collection’ available for all students and staff

   The LJMU Library 'Every Voice: Diversity, Equality, Inclusion Collection' has over 8000 titles that champion different voices.

8. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

9. International Women's Day - Tuesday 8 March

   This year's International Women's Day theme is #BreakTheBias and Ambar Ennis, VP Community and Wellbeing at JMSU and Julia Daer, EDI Advisor discuss what this means to them.
