1. January 2025 exam timetables now live

   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 6 January to Friday 17 January 2025 (inclusive).

2. Return of the Professional Services Excellence Awards

   Nominations are now open until Friday 17 January 2025.

3. Graduation review Thursday 12 July

   The morning saw graduations from Maritime and Mechanical Engineering, the Astrophysics Research Institute, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the School of Nursing and Allied Health. In the afternoon Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Research Institute, Civil Engineering and Built Environment all celebrated their graduations.

4. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – Wednesday 12 October, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Find out more about the Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair which takes place on Wednesday 12 October, featuring 50+ employers from a range of sectors looking to hire students from across all courses and disciplines.

5. Extra boost from LJMU aids Anna in her England rugby debut

   Advice from Performance Sport experts on strength training and nutrition helped the winger ahead of her England Women’s Rugby League debut.

6. Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week: Support at LJMU

   This week marks the beginning of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week, to encourage survivors to talk about abuse and that #ItIsNotOk

7. Register to attend the Research and Knowledge Exchange Conference

   All staff are invited to attend the Research and Knowledge Exchange Conference 2023, taking place in December.

8. In memoriam: Dr Malcolm Dixon

   It is with great sadness that LJMU announces the passing of Dr Malcolm Dixon who worked here for 30 years, until his retirement in 2015.

   Our work experience programme is looking for expressions of interest from staff and teams across the university for a Year 10 pupil to undertake a placement within your department.
