1. Events and support for disabled and neurodivergent students

   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

2. LJMU and Unite Students host inaugural 'Living Black at University' symposium

   A 'research into action symposium' has been held at LJMU. The event, organised by LJMU Associate Deans: Diversity and Inclusion, explored and shared the experiences of Black students at university and discussed how to turn the research into positive action.

3. Wellbeing journals: order copies for your new students

   Copies of the new wellbeing journal are now available and staff are encouraged to order copies for their students.

4. More than 120 local school pupils take part in LJMU Summer University

   Over the past month, more than 120 14- to 17-year-olds from across the UK have taken part in LJMU summer schools to inspire students from underrepresented backgrounds to consider higher education.

5. Sport-for-all manager joins LJMU as part of international collaboration

   LJMU is set to strengthen its reputation for promoting sport-for-all and physical activity in its communities.
