2. Can you support Clearing this year?

   Clearing is fast approaching and, once again, we are looking for support to staff the 105 Clearing Hotlines on Thursday 15 August 2019.

3. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

4. New entrepreneur discovery competition

   LJMU is hosting the local heat of a new entrepreneur discovery competition, open to all University alumni and students. The Federation of Self-Employed and Small Businesses and FSB Connect are running the competition to give budding entrepreneurs a financial boost and raise their profile.

5. Liverpool Business School trains 1,000 SME employees

   EU funding helps small business managers become more competitive

6. Staff Sharepoint migration

   IT Services has started the process of migrating all of our on-premise SharePoint and shared drives (JT2) to either Microsoft Teams or SharePoint Online.

7. UK Malaysia Partnership Grant for Student Mobility

   Three grants of £30,000 are available for UK-Malaysia Consortium member institutions for developing innovative and sustainable student mobility initiatives that enhance student outcomes and competencies.

8. Military service leavers and reservists - feedback needed

   Our Armed Forces Champion wants to hear about the experiences of students who have served in the military or are reservists.

9. Academic Board Elections - Teaching Staff

   Elections for the Academic Board teaching staff will take place from 24th May until 11th June 2019.

10. Deadline for home computing loan scheme

    Our current Home Computing Loan scheme for staff will come to a close in December, ahead of the launch of a brand new scheme in the new year.
