1. New social media policy

   The university has launched its new social media policy to help staff get the most out of their communications and to stay safe.

2. New date for staff event raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   Staff are invited to an event on Wednesday 14 December from 10am to 11am at Exchange Station (Room 1 & 2), where they can find out more about how we're supporting those impacted by domestic abuse.

3. Health and safety code of practice updates

   Two of our health and safety codes of practice and have updated and can be accessed on the Policy Centre.

4. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

5. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

6. New and updated diversity and inclusion policies

   The Employment Committee has recently approved a new diversity and inclusion policy and guidance document, as well as amendments to an existing policy.

7. Updated Research Degrees Framework 2024/25

   Updates have been made to various regulations and policies that underpin the university’s Research Degrees Framework.

8. New Policy - Data Sharing with Law Enforcement Agencies

   The Policy Centre has been updated with a new policy

9. Menopause matters celebration and future initiatives

   An update on the work happening at LJMU to better support staff going through the menopause.

10. Framework for Academic Quality and Standards Policy update

    This staff policy has had a minor amendment.
