1. Staff car parking update August 2023

   The university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2024.

2. Free health and wellbeing merchandise for staff

   T-shirts, outerwear, mugs and water bottles are now available to help staff get talking and thinking about their health and wellbeing.

3. Updates to Relocation Policy for new staff

   The Relocation Policy for new staff has been updated to ensure it reflects HMRC guidance.

4. New Staff Gardening Group

   The School of Biological & Environmental Sciences has been working on a project to improve Byrom Street Campus with 10 urban wildlife gardens.

5. Launch of Men's Staff Network

   The Men’s Staff Network will provide a space for colleagues to celebrate the positive contributions and achievements of men; raise awareness of the issues affecting men and boys and the associated impacts on wider society and offer opportunities for formal and informal networking and mentoring.

6. Making Every Contact Count staff training: April and June

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

7. Teaching staff urged to sign-up for My Pensions Online

   The start of the academic year can be a good time to review your pension arrangements. All academic teaching staff are reminded that they can sign-up to an online portal if they are members of the Teachers Pension Scheme.

8. Dental plan for LJMU staff

   The scheme provided by Unum Dental is an insurance policy available to LJMU staff, apply by 31 Jan 2024.

9. Making Every Contact Count staff training: September to December

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

10. P60s now available on Staff Infobase

    P60s for the tax year 2023-24 (ending 5 April 2024) are now available on Staff Infobase.
