Are we alone? Is there the possibility of life elsewhere beyond the earth? This was the subject of a fascinating lecture on the cosmos and the universe in the latest Roscoe lecture at St Georges Hall, delivered by Monica Grady, Professor of Planetary and Space Sciences at the Open University (OU)
This April, LJMU celebrated the achievements of 2,678 students who graduated across eight ceremonies at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.
Library Services are gearing up for an exciting lineup of events this March as part of Library Fest 2024. There’ll be a range of exciting activities taking place from book swaps to poetry readings, exhibitions, and giveaways for all students, staff and visitors to get involved in.
Thursday 10 October is World Mental Health Day and LJMU is raising awareness of all aspects of mental health and wellbeing, including suicide prevention, by outlining the support and resources available at the university for students and staff.
LJMU staff assisted Help for Heroes sport coaches and local sports teams to facilitate a range of inclusive and fully accessible sport sessions to a group being supported by the charity.
