   The Bicentennial Vice-Chancellor PhD scholarships are now open

2. New Academic Achievement teaching resources

   Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.

3. LJMU Religion & Belief Workshops “Understanding religious diversity of our students and staff community”

   LJMUs Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team, are proud to be working in partnership with Zia Chaudhry (Director of LJMU Foundation for Citizenship), Zane Abdo (LJMU Muslim Adviser/Chaplin), Rabbi Natan Fagleman (LJMU Jewish Chaplain), Hannah Padfield (LJMU Anglican Chaplain), Father Neil Ritchie (LJMU Catholic Chapain) and other external consultants in order to offer LJMU Staff (& Students*), the opportunity to participate in a bespoke, half day Religion & Belief workshop.

4. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

5. Expressions of interest welcomed for Academic Board vacancies

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.

   An update on the work happening at LJMU to better support staff going through the menopause.

7. Making Every Contact Count staff training: September to December

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

8. New university report cover sheet and guidance

   The Secretariat shares with you the latest update which came into force on Monday 4 December 2023, with immediate effect.

9. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.
