4. New entrepreneur discovery competition

   LJMU is hosting the local heat of a new entrepreneur discovery competition, open to all University alumni and students. The Federation of Self-Employed and Small Businesses and FSB Connect are running the competition to give budding entrepreneurs a financial boost and raise their profile.

5. Day in the life of PhD student Anna Powell

   Apply now for a fully funded 3-year PhD scholarship or the newly piloted Internal Thematic Doctoral Pathway (TDP).

6. Paid opportunity to solve a real world issue

   LCR Founders is offering students from any programme or level of study the chance to apply for a three-day paid consultancy to solve a real-world issue presented by an external organisation.

7. Need help paying your energy bills?

   You could receive between £250-£500 from LJMU’s Student Support Fund, to help with your energy bills.

8. Applications for Discovery Internships for level 5 and 6 students now open

   The final round of paid Discovery Internships for this academic year, which are all sustainability themed, are open for applications now from second and final year (level 5 and 6) students.

9. Part-time job opportunity for students and graduates

   LJMU students and graduates are invited to apply for positions in a team of marshals helping to keep our buildings COVID-safe in the new academic year.
