1. IT upgrades coming your way

   During the summer, IT services will be delivering an upgrade to Microsoft Office and Google Chrome will become the default browser.

   If you have not already completed your online security training for this quarter, you must do so as soon as possible.

3. Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions take LJMU to Northern Ireland

   Academics, professional service staff and students travelled to Belfast for a recent university applicant day.

4. Academic Registry online training sessions

   There are lots of academic staff training opportunities still available throughout the remainder of semester one.

5. Making Every Contact Count training January

   Staff are invited to take part in a Making Every Contact Count training day on Monday 15 January.

6. LJMU joins action group spearheading positive change for technical career pathways

   Two LJMU staff members will sit on the Career Pathways Action Group.

7. Academic Registry training sessions February to July 2023

   There are still many staff training opportunities available this academic year, through to the end of July 2023, covering a range of topics.

   Informal one-hour breakfast sessions open to all academic staff who want to learn more about the support available to them from Academic Registry.

10. Staff Sharepoint migration

    IT Services has started the process of migrating all of our on-premise SharePoint and shared drives (JT2) to either Microsoft Teams or SharePoint Online.
