   LJMU has released its latest film to celebrate the bicentennial of the university. The film titled 200 years of ‘Yes you can’ celebrates the university’s long history within the city, raising people up.

3. Are we alone? Professor Monica Grady delivers latest Roscoe lecture

   Are we alone? Is there the possibility of life elsewhere beyond the earth? This was the subject of a fascinating lecture on the cosmos and the universe in the latest Roscoe lecture at St Georges Hall, delivered by Monica Grady, Professor of Planetary and Space Sciences at the Open University (OU)

4. Scholarships for new students

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!

5. Spring graduation 2024

   This April, LJMU celebrated the achievements of 2,678 students who graduated across eight ceremonies at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.

   Civil engineers from Liverpool John Moores University have created a range of low carbon novel high performing, construction materials from waste materials
