   Intrepid engineering students are hoping to race LJMUs first electric racing car around the world-famous Formula 1 track in July.

   LJMU Chancellor Nisha Katona has caught up with students from LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology to hear about their latest work and research.

7. Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded

   Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded over the Easter weekend. The upgraded system will be available by 8am on Tuesday 6th April. The upgrade will move the system to the latest version of the software, ensuring that it remains up-to-date and continues to effectively support the University's business.

8. New support for staff development

   The university will shortly be introducing a new system to support you in recording and tracking performance and development conversations.

9. LJMU e-Racing Team Launch Evening a success

   It was great to see plenty of supporters at the LJMU e-Racing Team’s launch evening earlier this month when the team announced some big changes for the 2017-2018 season.
