1. Email account improvements

   IT Services will soon be migrating staff email accounts to provide us with greater security, increased storage limits and easier accessibility.

2. IT drop-in sessions

   IT Services is running a series of drop-in classroom display and audio technology introduction/refresher sessions

3. IT upgrades coming your way

   During the summer, IT services will be delivering an upgrade to Microsoft Office and Google Chrome will become the default browser.

4. New arrangements for AV support

   We have a new system in place to support you in using audio visual and display technology in our teaching spaces.

5. Front of class technology support sessions for staff - September 2022

   IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.

6. Fault reporting processes for the new academic year

   As the new academic year begins and our campus becomes busy once more, staff are reminded to ensure that all faults are reported via the respective Helpdesks.

7. AVIT group developing a positive AV experience across campus

   Did you know that LJMU has a dedicated Learning Environment Panel and an Audio Visual and Information Technology (AVIT) group whose combined remit is to improve the quality of teaching space across campus?

8. International Pronouns Day

   International Pronouns Day seeks to make respecting, sharing and educating about personal pronouns common practice.

9. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

10. Join the Pride March on Saturday 27 July

    LCR Pride takes place on Saturday 27 July and we will be taking part in the Pride March on Saturday afternoon.
