   Students can apply for a free laptop or recycled IT kit through the IT support schemes.

6. Don’t miss our Welcome Event for new students

   LJMU offers a wide range of different services for students – from money advice and study skills workshops to careers guidance and free gym membership.

7. Tell your students about Freshers 22 activities

   Students can sign up for Freshers 22 activities or staff can make a group booking for their programme.

8. Update to IT services: IT disruption expected Saturday 24 August

   As part of LJMU security upgrades, key platforms including Canvas, Staff Infobase and parts of the LJMU website will be unavailable on 24 August.

9. IT upgrades coming your way

   During the summer, IT services will be delivering an upgrade to Microsoft Office and Google Chrome will become the default browser.

10. Update: LJMU Induction Week and Freshers 2022

    Monday 19 September will be a Bank Holiday for all students
