1. Class of 2021 "uniquely skilled for classroom"

   Its been a tough year for LJMU's six hundred or so trainee teachers, but they will be uniquely skilled, argues Jan Rowe.

   The survey will be conducted between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 5 to Friday 9 February 2024.

3. Annual survey of teaching space from 21 October

   The annual survey of teaching space will take place across the University over a two-week period, from Monday 21 October to Friday 1 November, 9am to 5pm.

4. LJMU receives Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence and National Teaching Fellowship

   LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.

   The annual survey and audit of teaching space will take place across the university between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October 2023.

   This year's staff award winners have been announced.

7. JMSU Amazing Teaching Award 2022 Winners Announced

   The winners of the John Moores Students' Union Amazing Teaching Awards 2022 have been announced with 15 winners across six categories.

8. Teaching and Learning Excellence award winners honoured at ceremony

   The winners of this year’s Teaching and Learning Excellence Awards 2023 (TLAs) received their awards at an event held in the Tithebarn Building.

9. New Teaching and Learning Academy policies

   Two new policies will support teaching staff in their development through peer exchange and direct observation.

10. Academic Board Elections - Teaching Staff

    Elections for the Academic Board teaching staff will take place from 24th May until 11th June 2019.
