   Liverpool John Moores University scooped University of the Year at the Educate North Awards 2017.

   Liverpool John Moores University is one of six across the UK to be shortlisted in the most prestigious category by the Times Higher.

5. Open Research Week 2024

   Open Research Week 2024 is a collaborative event by LJMU, Edge Hill University, University of Liverpool, and the University of Essex from Monday 26 February to Friday 1 March.

6. The University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme research initiatives announced

   After consideration of all applications to the University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme, the projects to receive funding have been announced.

7. Annual survey of teaching space from 21 October

   The annual survey of teaching space will take place across the University over a two-week period, from Monday 21 October to Friday 1 November, 9am to 5pm.

8. University Seal request form update

   The Secretariat has updated the request form to incorporate the additional stages of approval required from colleagues in finance and legal.

9. Liverpool John Moores University celebrates a week’s worth of Graduations

   Liverpool John Moores University is celebrating after a wonderful week of graduation ceremonies at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, in which more than 4,000 students graduated across 18 ceremonies, including 96 members of staff.

10. Varsity 2023: LJMU vs UOL

    The age-old rivalry between Liverpool John Moores University and University of Liverpool takes place this month with a series of sporting events.
