LJMU access to LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning is a leading online educational platform that helps you to develop and learn business, software, technology and creative skills to achieve your personal and professional goals. LJMU students have free access to the LinkedIn Learning digital library of thousands of courses taught by recognised industry experts.
The benefits of using LinkedIn Learning
- Free access to modules 24-7 from your phone, tablet or desktop
- Courses led by experts; on average an hour long, broken down into bite-sized video modules
- Option to bookmark courses that interest you, keep track of those you've taken and receive a certificate when you complete a course
- Downloadable course materials and practical hands-on training
- Playlists and bookmarks for future reference
- The option to link your learning account with your personal LinkedIn profile
How to sign up to LinkedIn Learning
- Go to LinkedIn Learning and enter your LJMU email address. Ignore the option to Sign in with your library card
- Choose Liverpool John Moores University as the account, then enter your username@ljmu.ac.uk and LJMU password
- You'll have the option to connect your LinkedIn Profile or skip for now
- From here you'll be able to tailor how you'd like to use LinkedIn Learning

Using LinkedIn Learning on a mobile device
The LinkedIn Learning mobile app is synced with the desktop experience so you can:
- Start watching on one device then finish on another
- Explore courses and videos during your commute and save them for viewing later
- Download a course for offline viewing
- Save on data by listening to course audio only, like a podcast
To use the mobile app
- Download the LinkedIn Learning app (Android: Google Play Store or iOS: Apple App Store)
- Opening the app, you'll be directed to login. Enter your LJMU email address, choose Liverpool John Moores University as the account, then enter your username@ljmu.ac.uk and LJMU password
- From here you'll be able to access your content in LinkedIn Learning
