1. Update to IT services: IT disruption expected Saturday 24 August

   As part of LJMU security upgrades, key platforms including Canvas, Staff Infobase and parts of the LJMU website will be unavailable on 24 August.

2. Provide peer-to-peer wellbeing support

   LJMU Connectors provide peer-to-peer mental wellbeing support to colleagues, at a local level, across the university.

3. Military veterans, reservists and their partners offered enhanced support by LJMU

   As an Armed Forces friendly organisation, LJMU has introduced new measures to better support veterans, reservists and their partners who work for the university, or who may look to join the institution in the future.

4. LJMU joins action group spearheading positive change for technical career pathways

   Two LJMU staff members will sit on the Career Pathways Action Group.

5. Wellbeing journals: order copies for your new students

   Copies of the new wellbeing journal are now available and staff are encouraged to order copies for their students.

6. Designs for inclusion: enhancing doctoral education programme

   Staff can sign-up for the programme delivered across two afternoons, 1pm to 4.30pm on Thursday 9 November and Wednesday 22 November.

7. Your LJMU Your Voice

   We have launched an exercise to learn about your experiences of working at the university.

8. Teaching and Learning Excellence Award Winners 2024

   This year's staff award winners have been announced.

9. Privacy and security survey

   To better understand how much we all know about data protection matters, a short staff survey has been put together.

10. Technicians survey 2024 to remain open for a further fortnight

    The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) Technicians Survey at LJMU is open for responses for a further two weeks until Friday 5 April.
