   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 22 April to Friday 3 May 2024 (inclusive).

4. Staff Car Parking Update

   Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.

5. Tell your students about Freshers 22 activities

   Students can sign up for Freshers 22 activities or staff can make a group booking for their programme.

6. Vice Chancellor's Awards for Research, Scholarship and Knowledge Transfer 2019

   A summary of the winners of the VC Awards for Research, Scholarship and Knowledge Transfer 2019 conferred at the University Research and Innovation Day in June.

7. Summer building opening times

   LJMU will move to its summer building opening hours from Monday 24 June.

8. Cycling events at LJMU

   LJMU is hosting a series of events to support cyclists of all abilities and experience.

9. Future Fortnight: 28 February to 11 March – open to all students

   Join the Student Futures team for a series of events helping you think about your future goals. The sessions are friendly, open to students from any programme or year group and will help you gain clarity on your next steps.

10. First Step Spring Internships available for Level 4 students

    A new pilot internship programme for first year students (level 4 only) with little to no previous work experience launched on Monday 15 January and close at midnight on Sunday 4 February. There will be no interview process for these opportunities, the Student Futures team will undertake a matching process between participating organisations and students. The internships will begin on Monday 4 March (start dates may vary for each role).
