   From today, you will see changes to the main megamenu navigation bar and footer at the top and bottom of each webpage and the main banner image on the homepage.

2. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

3. Costis to advise Public Health England on COVID impacts

   Costis Maganaris, of the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, has been appointed a COVID-19 advisor to Public Health England.

4. Support for Devolution Deal for Liverpool City Region

   Liverpool John Moores University is keen to support the Government and the Liverpool City region Devolution Deal. Overall we see this as a positive step forward for the City Region.

5. 300 children's horizons widened by Christmas Space Lecture

   STARRY-EYED schoolchildren from across Merseyside enjoyed the Liverpool Space Lecture yesterday.

6. Researchers prove herbivore mammals do have bigger bellies

   Dr Carlo Meloro from Liverpool John Moores University, with a team of European scientists, has investigated the volumes of body cavities in a large range of extant and fossil tetrapods and found that plant feeding animals have bigger bellies than their carnivore counterparts.

   LJMU has won its bid to host the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science (EWASS) in 2018.

    The Director of the Liverpool Logistics Offshore and Marine Research Institute at Liverpool John Moores University - Prof. Jin Wang - has been awarded the prestigious 2018 IMechE Award for Risk Reduction in Mechanical Engineering.
