   NameCoach software has been integrated with LJMU systems to help users add name pronunciations at the bottom of email signatures.

   Did you know that LJMU has a dedicated Learning Environment Panel and an Audio Visual and Information Technology (AVIT) group whose combined remit is to improve the quality of teaching space across campus?

7. Extra online security is being rolled out across the university

   Update your details and find out where staff and students can go for IT support.

8. Restrictions on using USBs

   From Monday 4 September, students will no longer be able to use USB storage devices on LJMU computers, laptops and other IT equipment.

9. EndNote software upgrade

   This summer EndNote Desktop software is being upgraded from EndNote X9 to EndNote 20.
