5. Challenging Racism Collaborative Campaign (FREE Webinar Series)

   Liverpool John Moores University, University of Kent and City, University of London are collaborating in order to launch a series of cross-sector live webinars on race, racism and the importance of inclusive allyships.

6. Supporting those facing domestic abuse

   LJMU is backing a campaign to support people facing gender-based violence.

7. Staff event at Student Life Building

   Our next staff open day at the Student Life Building takes place on Wednesday 24 November, with networking opportunities, a chance to find out more about the building and its services, plus a free lunch.

8. Empowering staff to support PGRs from racially minoritised groups

   Academic and professional services staff who support PGRs have a bespoke training and development opportunity designed by the educational charity Grit Breakthrough. Using a coaching approach to support PGRs is a two-day online coaching workshop, which will run across two days in November.

9. Seminar series: decolonising the science curriculum

   This is a virtual seminar series to encourage discourse on decolonising the curriculum in the sciences.

10. Fault reporting processes for the new academic year

    As the new academic year begins and our campus becomes busy once more, staff are reminded to ensure that all faults are reported via the respective Helpdesks.
