3. LJMU relations with Nepal strengthened after researchers meet with President

   Researchers from LJMU have met with the President of Nepal, the Right honourable Bidhya Devi Bhandari, to discuss issues relating to education, gender, women's rights and social justice. Dr Sara Parker from Sociology, School of Humanities and Social Science and Rose Khatri from the Centre for Public Health recently met with the President and spoke for almost two hours.

4. Exhibition for 'forgotten' Liverpool artist

   The Wrong Sex: Franchon Fröhlich will show at the Exhibition Research Lab, John Lennon Art and Design Building from February 17 to May, 2023.

5. LJMU Health and Wellbeing Strategy

   As Feel Fab Feb activities comes to an end, our Executive Leadership Team is highlighting the importance of health and wellbeing at LJMU, with the relaunch of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

6. Joint staff and student project wins digital privacy award

   LJMU has won an award at the PICCASO Privacy Awards Europe 2023 for a Privacy and Digital Security project created by staff and students.

7. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

   The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.

10. The mind behind the World Trade Center reconstruction

    World renowned architect Daniel Libeskind comes to Liverpool John Moores University on Friday 23 October to deliver a public lecture.
