4. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October

5. Paramedic students take on The Paramedic Games 2023

   Paramedic Science students from across LJMU have taken part in a two-day event which saw students, from first, second and third year, compete in eight high fidelity scenarios around the John Foster Building.

6. Summer building closing times

   LJMU buildings will move to summer opening hours from Monday 19 June.

7. New hub of wellbeing events for students and staff

   We've launched the ‘Looking after your wellbeing’ event hub on the LJMU website to bring together all the different events happening across the university and help you look after your wellbeing.

8. Reserves Day and Armed Forces Day 2023

   LJMU is marking both Reserves Day (Wednesday 21 June) and Armed Forces Day (Saturday 24 June) as part of its pledge to support the Armed Forces community under the Armed Forces Covenant.

   We are deeply saddened by the death of Colette Dalton, a much-loved member of our catering team.

10. LJMU 4th in Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings

    Liverpool John Moores University has ranked #3 in Course Quality in the Uni Compare 2023 Rankings and is now in 4th place overall in the Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings.
