1. Researchers urged to share their experiences

   Colleagues are currently running the Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey (CEDARS) to harness your views, and to understand your experiences and needs as a researcher at LJMU.

2. Travel survey findings

   Findings from the LJMU Travel Survey have been collated and will now inform the LJMU Active and Sustainable Travel Plan.

3. New workplace milk initiative

   Staff can now order milk through Catering Services for their team to collect once a week.

4. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

5. Hate Crime Awareness

   Hate Crime Awareness Week is an important time to remind ourselves what constitutes a hate crime and what support is available both on and off campus.

8. Additional workshops available for leaders and managers

   The Organisational Development teams’ LJMU Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two workshop sessions.

   We have a great opportunity for LJMU students to develop your skills and experience by working on an online environment and climate project.

10. Academic Registry Policy Update

    The Academic Board has recently approved an update to the Personal Circumstances Policy, as well as detailed supporting guidance for LJMU students and the Personal Circumstances Panel.
