3. LJMU host 59th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference

   Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.

4. Positive response to Actus staff development platform

   There has been an extremely positive response from staff to the introduction of Actus, our new system to support development and performance.

5. Academic Registry invigilation training

   Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

6. Redmonds Building closure

   As part of our summer works programme, Redmonds Building is closed for the next few weeks for improvements.

7. New approach to degree apprenticeships

   LJMU is developing a new, more efficient process to manage our degree apprenticeship programmes.

8. Confidential Waste Policy update

   The updated policy includes further information on disposing of small amounts of confidential waste in confidential waste bins across the university and on how you can order secure bags for larger quantities.

9. Reportable Events Policy update

   Amendments are in line with the latest Office for Students (OfS) guidance.

10. Pride in Liverpool 2023

    Students, staff and alumni from across LJMU will be joining the LCR Pride March on Saturday 29 July, taking to the streets of Liverpool to march in protest and in celebration.
