2. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

3. Resurfacing works affecting Mount Pleasant Campus (17-21 February)

   Please be aware that restrictions are in place over the next week around our Mount Pleasant Campus due to resurfacing works.

4. February is LGBT+ History Month

   This month marks LGBT+ History Month 2022, a chance to shine a light on the overlooked and complicated history of all of the identities and communities under the LGBT+ umbrella .

   Independent music magazine Bido Lito! and Liverpool John Moores University are inviting the public’s views on establishing a Liverpool City Music Office.

   Public health pioneer and founding figure of LJMU Fanny Calder has been honoured at Liverpool's newest hotel.

7. UN Sustainable Development Goals: resources for staff

   As part of this year's submission to the Times Higher Impact Rankings, a hub of resources is now available to staff outlining our commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

8. Students at the Heart Conference 2023 submissions now open

   Submissions from across the LJMU community and our partner organisations are now being sought for the 2023 conference taking place in June.

   LIVERPOOL has achieved a climate first by launching the UKs first degree in climate change studies.
