1. Summer estates work programme

   A programme of improvement works to our estate is taking place over the summer months.

3. LJMU students help refugees at the Polish/Ukrainian border

   MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

4. Improvement works at John Foster Building

   Next month (June 2022), we will begin a programme of improvement works to John Foster Building, which means it will be closed for a period over the summer.

5. Churchill Way Flyovers

   Liverpool City Council will shortly begin the process of demolishing the Churchill Way flyovers.

6. New solar panels installed at Redmonds Building

   LJMU are completing key actions within the Carbon Management Plan by installing renewable energy technologies across the university estate.

7. LJMU wins major construction industry award

   LJMU has won a major award from the regional construction industry.

8. Double win in the inaugural TrackImpactorg Project Competition

   LJMU has triumphed in two of three categories at the first-ever TrackImpact.org Global Project Competition.
