   As the new academic year begins and our campus becomes busy once more, staff are reminded to ensure that all faults are reported via the respective Helpdesks.

6. Add the pronunciation of your name to your email signature

   NameCoach software has been integrated with LJMU systems to help users add name pronunciations at the bottom of email signatures.

7. Extra online security is being rolled out across the university

   Update your details and find out where staff and students can go for IT support.

8. AVIT group developing a positive AV experience across campus

   Did you know that LJMU has a dedicated Learning Environment Panel and an Audio Visual and Information Technology (AVIT) group whose combined remit is to improve the quality of teaching space across campus?

9. Restrictions on using USBs

   From Monday 4 September, students will no longer be able to use USB storage devices on LJMU computers, laptops and other IT equipment.
