1. Hybrid working guidance

   Following the initial launch of hybrid working last year, our HR team has now shared its Hybrid Working Guidance.

2. Students at the Heart Conference 2023 submissions now open

   Submissions from across the LJMU community and our partner organisations are now being sought for the 2023 conference taking place in June.

3. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October

4. Annual survey and audit of teaching space to take place this October

   The annual survey and audit of teaching space will take place across the university between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October 2023.

5. In memoriam: Colette Dalton

   We are deeply saddened by the death of Colette Dalton, a much-loved member of our catering team.

6. Can you support clearing this August?

   We are looking for staff to help with our clearing hub on Thursday 17 August.

7. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

8. LJMU marks World Menopause Day 2023

   In recognition of World Menopause Day 2023 our staff came together for the fourth Menopause Café of the year and to talk about how we can all play a role in supporting and understanding colleagues going through the menopause.

9. Exhibition showcases 200 years of LJMU history

   Graphic Design students team up with Library Services and the LJMU Archives to create three-week show

10. Additional workshops available for leaders and managers

    The Organisational Development teams’ LJMU Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two workshop sessions.
