8. LJMU host 59th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference

   Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.

9. Encouraging more girls to become involved in biomechanics

   In celebration of National Biomechanics Day 2023 (Wednesday 5 April), the Biomechanics Research Group within LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, delivered an exciting, fun-filled, activity packed event with schoolgirls from a Liverpool primary school.

    Julia has a long history of connections with the university and will record events throughout 2023 in documentary drawing and watercolour sketches.
