1. Transgender Awareness Workshops (2019/20)

   LJMU are proud to be working in partnership with Subject Matter Expert; GenderSpace and are pleased to offer LJMU Staff the opportunity to participate in a half day, Transgender Awareness Workshop.

5. New Staff Gardening Group

   The School of Biological & Environmental Sciences has been working on a project to improve Byrom Street Campus with 10 urban wildlife gardens.

6. New role to lead LiRICS

   In line with its Climate Action Plan, LJMU has confirmed additional strategic investment in a new role to lead the Liverpool Research Institute for Climate and Sustainability (LiRICS).

7. Making Every Contact Count training January

   Staff are invited to take part in a Making Every Contact Count training day on Monday 15 January.

8. Summer building opening times

   LJMU will move to its summer building opening hours from Monday 24 June.

9. Restrictions on using USBs for students and staff

   From 4 September students will be no longer able to use USB storage devices on LJMU equipment. This is alongside the restrictions already in place for staff.

10. Register to vote in the General Election
