1. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

2. Staff Governor voting now open

   All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.

3. VC Awards nominations now open

   Nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Research and Knowledge Exchange 2023 are now open.

4. New approach to degree apprenticeships

   LJMU is developing a new, more efficient process to manage our degree apprenticeship programmes.

5. Lol delivers prestigious Cambridge lecture

   Professor Lol Burke from LJMU’s School of Justice Studies has shared his insights into probation and rehabilitation at a prestigious lecture at the University of Cambridge.

6. New Bicentenary film celebrates Graduation

   As LJMU continues its Bicentenary year, the next in a series of bespoke videos has been released, this time recognising the amazing achievement and celebration that is graduation at LJMU.

7. All You Need is GaP

   Just a reminder that all externally funded projects must be both registered (a GaP project created) and costed on our Grants and Projects (GaP) system from 1st July 2020.

8. New arrangements for AV support

   We have a new system in place to support you in using audio visual and display technology in our teaching spaces.

9. Come and cheer on Team LJMU at the 2024 Lord Mayor's Dragon Boat Race

   LJMU are the main sponsor of this years’ event and three staff teams will compete on Sunday 12 May.
