1. Catering store within iBuy down 14 to 18 August

   The catering store within iBuy will be down from 14 to 18 August. Any catering requests for during this period and up to the 22 August should be booked in advance.

2. The way to book catering internally is changing

   To help improve the catering hospitality service for staff, things are changing in the new academic year.

3. New workplace milk initiative

   Staff can now order milk through Catering Services for their team to collect once a week.

5. In memoriam: Colette Dalton

   We are deeply saddened by the death of Colette Dalton, a much-loved member of our catering team.

6. New look and menu for LJMU catering outlets

   LJMU is launching a brand new look and menu across all of our catering outlets.

7. Long service awards

   The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service.

8. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October

9. New hospitality ordering system

   LJMU’s Catering service will shortly introduce a brand new customer-friendly online ordering system for hospitality.

10. Long service staff celebrate milestones

    Long service staff who have worked at the university for over 25 years were celebrated at an event at the Hilton, Liverpool last week.
