   Students can apply for a free laptop or recycled IT kit through the IT support schemes.

   We have a new system in place to support you in using audio visual and display technology in our teaching spaces.

3. Front of class technology support sessions for staff - September 2022

   IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.

4. Fault reporting processes for the new academic year

   As the new academic year begins and our campus becomes busy once more, staff are reminded to ensure that all faults are reported via the respective Helpdesks.

6. IT drop-in sessions

   IT Services is running a series of drop-in classroom display and audio technology introduction/refresher sessions

7. Restrictions on using USBs

   From Monday 4 September, students will no longer be able to use USB storage devices on LJMU computers, laptops and other IT equipment.

8. Extra online security is being rolled out across the university

9. Disability History Month: What's happening at LJMU and support available

   Disability History Month runs between 16 November and 16 December 2023 and it is an opportunity to reflect on the past and create positive change for the present and the future.

10. Update to IT services: IT disruption expected Saturday 24 August

    As part of LJMU security upgrades, key platforms including Canvas, Staff Infobase and parts of the LJMU website will be unavailable on 24 August.
