   LJMU is looking for staff to help recruit students to LJMU during Clearing 2024 on Thursday 15 August.

2. World Mental Health Day: LJMU outlines commitment to mental health and suicide prevention

   Thursday 10 October is World Mental Health Day and LJMU is raising awareness of all aspects of mental health and wellbeing, including suicide prevention, by outlining the support and resources available at the university for students and staff.

3. LJMU Health and Wellbeing Strategy

   As Feel Fab Feb activities comes to an end, our Executive Leadership Team is highlighting the importance of health and wellbeing at LJMU, with the relaunch of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

4. Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions take LJMU to Northern Ireland

   Academics, professional service staff and students travelled to Belfast for a recent university applicant day.

5. LJMU marks World Menopause Day 2023

   In recognition of World Menopause Day 2023 our staff came together for the fourth Menopause Café of the year and to talk about how we can all play a role in supporting and understanding colleagues going through the menopause.

   Need to create a data management plan for your research application? New training sessions will start this September to help you using DMPonline.

7. Health and safety code of practice updates

   Two of our health and safety codes of practice and have updated and can be accessed on the Policy Centre.

8. New Teaching and Learning Academy policies

   Two new policies will support teaching staff in their development through peer exchange and direct observation.

9. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

10. Take charge of your pension

    This Pension Awareness Week (11-15 September) access free, impartial, and straightforward pension information, as well as a series of live sessions.
